Our outdoor wood boiler is our main source of heat in the winter. We are looking at retirement in the next few years and would like to add a back up heat source so we can head south for part of the winter! Anyone ever plumb in an electric boiler inline with your outdoor wood boiler? We don't want to drain our system when go so we must keep the water circulating through the woodstove while keeping the house partially warm. Trying to stay away from propane if possible.
